Muscle and Fitness War 2012

Staged for more than 20 years, the 2012 Muscle & Fitness War was held at the the National University of Singapore (NUS) University Cultural Center (UCC). Organized by the National University of Singapore Health and Fitness Club (NUSHNF), the purpose of this event is to promote Bodybuilding at tertiary level in Singapore.

7th January 2012, Singapore—Muscle & Fitness War (MFW) was billed as the second largest annual amateur Bodybuilding competition in Singapore. It was no doubt a great show this year with Kevin Chiak as host. Team SciTech athletes Ricky Wong and Shaifu were also present as guest posers, stealing the limelight with their impeccable physique.

Photo: Shah's confidence and stage presence dictates a clear message to all the other competitors. His competitors received his message loud and clear as they followed him around the stage during posedown apportunities.

The audience clearly wanted Shahanizar Johar, Sujinderpal Singh and Halim Ismail to win. You can hear supporters shouting their tag numbers from the crowd when kevin Chiak was about to announce the winner.

So how did the story turned out eventually? We have the results listed below.

Tertiary (up to 170cm):
1st place - Andrew Lim Sze Kne
2nd place - Chew Yi, Ice
3rd place - Lester Phua

Tertiary (Above 170cm):
1st place - Muhammad Zahari
2nd place - Cheong Jia Sheng
3rd place - Sebastian Foo Shan Yang

Female's Model Physique:
1st place - Madeleine Png
2nd place - Ruziela Ariffin Erikson

Men's Open:
1st place - Shahanizar Johar 
2nd place - Sujinderpal Singh
3rd place - Halim Ismail
